Grand Rapids volleyball ranked fourth in the NJCAA Division II poll

The Grand Rapids Community College women's volleyball team is ranked fourth in the NJCAA Division II volleyball pre-season poll released Tuesday. The Raiders finished last season with a 33-7 overall record and won the MCCAA Western Conference with a 15-1 record. They won the MCCAA and NJCAA Great Lakes District B championships last season. They finished fifth in the NJCAA Division II Volleyball Championship. 

Muskegon Community College is in the other schools receiving votes in the rankings. The Jayhawks finished with a 22-15 overall and 13-3 record in the MCCAA Western Conference. 

The MCCAA is scheduled to kick off conference on Tuesday, February 9. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic a few schools have opted out of the volleyball season. All schedules on the website are tentative.
