Lansing CC finishes third, nets two All-Americans at NJCAA Division II Cross Country Nationals

The Lansing Community College men's cross country team finished third at the NJCAA Division II Men's Cross Country Nationals on Saturday in Tallahassee, FL. The Stars placed five runners in the top 22 spots, including Kobe Blanco at 13 and Michael Dennis at 15.
Skippers' Katz earns MCCAA Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week honors

St. Clair County Community College sophomore Travis Katz (Mayville, MI/Mayville) has been named MCCAA men's cross country runner of the week. Katz finished 14th in both the MCCAA and NJCAA Region XII Division II races on Saturday with a time of 27:36.4.
MCCAA Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships are Saturday at Calvin College

For the first time since the mid 90's, the MCCAA cross country championships will not be held at Grand Woods Park in Lansing but a Calvin College's Gainey Athletic Complex on Saturday. 18 men's teams and 17 women's teams will compete for the title.

Muskegon Community College freshman runner Kyler Dean (Vicksburg, MI/Vicksburg) has earned his third MCCAA Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week award. Dean finished fourth at the Jayhawk Invitational finishing the eight kilometer course in 24:56.

Grand Rapids Community College freshman Mason Kolhoff (Martin, MI/Otsego) had been tabbed as the MCCAA Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week. Kolhoff finished second at the OCC Raiders Invitational as he tied his personal record of 26:38 as he help the Raiders win the Invitational.

Muskegon Community College freshman Kyler Dean (Vicksburg, MI/Vicksburg) has won the MCCAA Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week. Dean cruised to victory, completing the eight kilometer course in 26:30.
