Norse's Nelson tabbed as final MCCAA Northern Conference Player of the Week
Bay College sophomore forward Justin Nelson (Iron River, MI/West Iron County) has garnered the final MCCAA Northern Conference Men's Basketball Player or the Week. Nelson scored 34 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks as the Norse finished as runners up in the NJCAA Great Lakes District A Championship. Nelson was named to the All-Tournament Team for his play. Mid Michigan College's Jayden Sims was also nominated for the award.
