Mid Michigan's Lewis voted MCCAA Northern Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week

Mid Michigan College sophomore forward Javel Lewis, Jr. (Lansing, MI/Grand Blanc) has garnered MCCAA Northern Conference Men's Player of the Week Honors. Lewis pumped in 40 points in a pair of games last week. Lewis added 22 rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks as the Lakers went 1-1. Also nominated for the award, were last week's winner Lamar Grayson, James Williams of Alpena Community College and Seth Schumietma of Grand Rapids CC.
