For the second game in a row the seventh seeded Delta College men's basketball team have pulled off an upset. On Tuesday, the took down second seed Macomb CC, tonight the third seed, Wayne County Community College District was the victim. The Pioneers defeated Wayne County CCD 78-72. 

The Pioneers were led by DelVonte McCloud with 25 points and ten rebounds, while Goliath Mitchell poured in 25 points, grabbed eight rebounds and had three assists. Arron Collins dished out six assist for the Pioneers.

Wayne County's Marcus Fleming scored 15 points and added 11 rebounds, while Keshon Gordon added 14 points, six rebounds and three assists. Zane Desouza had 14 points, while Corey Whitted chipped in ten points. Kobe Price grabbed nine rebounds. The Wildcats end the season with a 17-13 record. 

Delta will try to continue their Cinderella run in tomorrow's championship game against either Mott CC or Schoolcraft College. The Pioneers are 14-15 on the campaign.
