Muskegon CC men's basketball up three spots to number 11 in this week's poll

The Muskegon Community College men's basketball team is up three spots in this NJCAA Division II men's basketball to number 11 this week. The Jayhawks are 19-4 overall and 14-0 in the MCCAA Western Conference. They have clinched a berth in the NJCAA Great Lakes West District Championship Tournament in March. They went 2-0 last week defeating Jackson College and Lake Michigan College. They will return to action on Wednesday when they host Kellogg Community College. 

Schoolcraft College dropped five spots to number 14 in the poll. The Ocelots are 22-3 overall and 10-2 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference. They have locked up a berth in the NJCAA Great Lakes East District Championship Tournament. They went 1-1 last week, losing to Wayne County Community College District and beating Delta College. They will host Alpena Community College for the next game. 

Ancilla College is back in the poll in the other schools receiving votes category this week. The Chargers are 17-5 overall and 11-3 in the MCCAA Western Conference. They have earned a berth in the NJCAA Great Lakes West District Championship Tournament. They were 2-0 last week beating Grand Rapids Community College and Kalamazoo Valley Community College. They return to the court on Wednesday when they travel to face Lake Michigan College. 

Mott Community College continues to remain in the other schools receiving votes category. They are 21-6 overall and 11-3 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference after defeating Alpena Community College last week. They went 1-1 last week, losing to St. Clair County Community College before beating Alpena Community College on Saturday. They will be back in action on Saturday when they host Oakland Community College.
