Kellogg finishes 2nd, three Bruins earn All-American honors at NJCAA Division III National Championship
The Kellogg Community College women's cross country team finished second place at the NJCAA Division III National Championship on Saturday in Fort Dodge, IA. The Bruins finished six points behind champion Joliet Junior College.
On the individual side of the meet, Emma Berning finished second in the race. She competed the five kilometer course in 20:24.88, finishing 14.01 seconds behind meet champion Tiffany Lehmann of Joliet JC. Berning earned NJCAA Division III women's cross country First Team All-American Honors for being runner-up. Hannah Wilkerson finished fourth with a time of 20:42.71. She also earned NJCAA Division III women's cross country First Team All-American honors. Kennedy Vanderlugt finished sixth for the Bruins. Vanderlugt earned NJCAA Division III women's cross country Second Team All-American Honors for the finish.
