Grand Rapids women's cross country moves up one spot in this week's poll

The Grand Rapids Community College women's cross country team moved up one spot this week to number four in this week's NJCAA/USTFCCCA Division II women's cross country poll. The Raiders won their third straight meet claiming the title at the Firebird Invitational last Friday. They are off until next Saturday when the run at the Jayhawk Invitational in Muskegon, MI. 

St. Clair County Community College remains ranked sixth for the second straight poll. The Skippers finished second at the Firebird Invitational last week. They will also compete at the Jayhawk Invitational next weekend. 

Jackson College moved into the top ten to number nine. The Jets, who were ranked 11th last poll, finished third at the Firebird Invitational. They are another team who will run at the Jayhawk Invitational next Saturday. 

Muskegon Community College falls three spots this week to number 16. The Jayhawks finished sixth at the Firebird Invitational last week. They will host the Jayhawk Invitational on the October 17. 

Mott Community College drops one spot to number 17 in this week rankings. The Bears finished fifth at the Firebird Invitational. They are off until the MCCAA/NJCAA Region XII Division II Championship in Lansing, MI on October 31. 

Macomb Community College moves up one spot to number 20 in this week's poll. The Monarch were eighth at the Firebird Invitational last weekend. They are also off until October 31, when the will compete in the MCCAA/NJCAA Region XII Divison II Championship.
