Jackson College set to host second MCCAA women's cross country event
On Saturday, all 11 MCCAA women's cross country teams will meet for the Jackson College Jets Classic. The meet is the second of three mandatory meets on the MCCAA's schedule, which was shortened due to COVID-19. Jackson College will not be permitting fans at the event due to the college's and Region XII COVID-19 restrictions.
The top three teams at the Skippers Invite look to battle again this. Grand Rapids CC won the event, with Jackson College and St. Clair County also in the top three. Muskegon CC was a very close fourth. On the individual side Kiah Becker of Grand Rapids won the event with St. Clair's Rachel Dusset was second. Macy Whipple (Muskegon), Olivia Hubbard (Jackson) and Lily Connelly (St. Clair) rounded out the top five. Emma Berning (Kellogg) has been in the top ten in each of the two races she has competed in.
Teams will round out the MCCAA required meets next Friday at Kirtland CC.
