Delta Sweeps Terra State, Collects Region XII Division III Softball Crown

SANDUSKY, Ohio – Delta College swept the best-of-three series against Terra State Community College to secure the 2025 NJCAA Region XII Division III Championship. The two game sweep, coming by scores of 7-0 and 13-2, brought home Delta's second region title in the past three seasons and the program's seventh overall at the Division III level.
Delta Interim Head Coach, Shelly Petoskey, was named Region XII Division III Coach of the Year following the championship victory.
With the win, Delta moves on to the Appalachian District Championship against Surry Community College next weekend. The winner of that best-of-three series punches their ticket to the NJCAA Division III World Series.
