Muskegon Jayhawks Sweep Again MCCAA Northern Conference Softball Week4 Honors
Muskegon Community College earns the sweep again with the MCCAA Northern Conference softball student-athletes of the week4 as sophomore Lilli Goodrich repeats as the pitcher of the week and classmate Brooklyn Galdeen is the player of the week.
In the circle, Goodrich recorded a win and a save in three appearances to help the team go 6-0. She fanned 15 batters in 12.1 innings of work, including an 11-strikeout complete-game performance against Grand Rapids Community College. She also had two triples and two runs batted in at the plate.
Galdeen put together a .684/.741/1.368 slashline in six contests. She went 13-for-19, including six extra-base hits of two doubles, a triple and three home runs, with 11 runs batted in. She also walked six times. She also went 3-0 in the circle with nine strikeouts and had a .958 fielding percentage on 24 total chances with just one error.
