Muskegon Jayhawks Sweep MCCAA Northern Conference Softball Week3 Honors
Muskegon Community College earns the sweep with the MCCAA Northern Conference student-athletes of the week3 as sophomore Lilli Goodrich is the pitcher of the week and freshman Olive Staal debuts as the top hitter.
A freshman outfielder from Fruitport, Mich., Staal had a .727/.727/1.000 slashline spanning 11 at-bats in four games. She had four runs batted in, crossed the plate four times and had eight put-outs for a .900 fielding percentage.
In the circle, Goodrich went 2-0 with a 1.40 earned-run average and 0.70 WHIP. She struck out 10 batters, walked just one and scattered six hits in 10 innings of work.
