Lansing's Ahlfeld earns MCCAA Western Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week honors

Lansing Community College sophomore Morgen Ahlfeld (Fountain, MI/Mason County) has been selected as MCCAA Western Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week for the third time. Ahlfeld went 2-0 in two appearances, pitching 11 innings, allowing eight hits, five runs, four earned, walking two and striking out eight and posting a 2.55 earned run average. Karly Manning of Lake Michigan College and Bayli Reed of Kalamazoo Valley Community College were also nominated for the award.
