Anger becomes second female to score in MCCAA Conference Tournament, earns Golfer of the Week honors
St .Clair County CC sophomore golfer became the second female golfer to score in a conference tournament last Monday when she scored in a MCCAA Conference Tournament and has earned MCCAA Eastern Conference Golfer of the Week. Anger shot an 87 at the Mott CC Invitational and was one of the four counting scores. This marked the second time a female had scored in a MCCAA conference event. In 2019, Alana Jones scored in all four rounds of the MCCAA Eastern Conference Champions and earned All-MCCAA honors. On Friday, she repeated the feat when she shot 89 at Grayling Country Club. She helped lead the Skippers to a second place finish in the MCCAA Eastern Conference Championship.
Also, up for the award was Jacob Zink of Mott CC and Trevor Kline-Johnson of Kirtland CC.
