Lansing Stars' Bakus Tapped MCCAA Western Conference Baseball Player of the Week4

Lansing Community College freshman outfielder Jack Bakus (Midland, Mich.) claims his first MCCAA Western Conference Baseball Player of the Week award.

Bakus backed up the honor with a sensational .786/.875/2.000 slashline in 14 at-bats over a five-game span. He accounted for 23 of the Stars runs, including 13 batted in. He smashed five home runs among his 11 hits, plus he walked nine times.
