GRCC Sweeps MCCAA Northern Conference Baseball Week3 Honors
Grand Rapids Community College freshman first baseman Jacob Pitt is the MCCAA Northern Conference Baseball Player of the Week3, while sophomore teammate Lucas McKinney is the pitcher of the week in the conference.
Pitt, a Grand Rapids Catholic Central High School graduate, produced a .571/.500/1.000 slashline with a home run and seven runs batted in. He also was perfect in the field with 18 total chances.
On the mound, McKinney (Clarkston High School) went 1-0 with a 1.50 earned-run average and six strikeouts. This marks the second week in a row that a Raiders pitcher garnered this MCCAA weekly award.
