Three MCCAA players earn NJCAA All-American Honors

Three MCCAA baseball player have earned NJCAA Division II All-American honors. Lansing CC's George Ferguson earned NJCAA Division II First Team All-American honors. Ferguson, a freshman pitcher, pitched in eight game going 7-0 on the season. In 41 and 2/3 innings he allowed 29 hits, seven run, five earned with 14 walk, 43 strikeouts and a 1.09 earned run average. 

Jared Evans of Muskegon Community College earned NJCAA Second Team All-American Honors. In 46 games he had 149 at bats, he had 71 hits, 45 runs, five double, one triple and four home runs. He hit .490, with 43 RBIs and had 18 stolen bases. 

Tate Peterson of Kellogg Community College earned NJCAA Third Team All-American Honors. In 49 game, Peterson hit .430 in 49 games. In 172 at bats he had 74 hits, 61 runs, nine doubles, two triples, nine home runs and 40 RBIs. He also had 22 stolen bases.
