Emily Meyer, MCCAA Eastern Conference Softball Player of the Week, Oakland CC

Oakland Community College's Emily Meyer (Davison, MI/Davison) has been named the MCCAA Eastern Conference Softball Player of the Week after a spectacular week on the field. Meyer, a sophomore third baseman, hit an impressive .524, with 11 hits, 10 runs scored, a double, seven home runs, 16 RBI, and a stolen base. Samantha Scott of Macomb Community College, Claie Ouellette of Mott Community College and Natalie Douglas of St. Clair County Community College were also nominated for the award.
