Oakland Community College sophomore shortstop Sammy Michael (Newport, MI/St. Mary's Catholic Central) has won this week's MCCAA Eastern Conference Softball Player of the Week honors Micael hit .714 (10 for 14) with three doubles, a home run, six runs scored, nine RBI and two stolen based in four games.
