Muskegon Community College claims 2019 MCCAA Wrestling Championship

It took 39 years, but Muskegon Community College earned their seventh consecutive MCCAA Wrestling Championship. Muskegon won the last MCCAA title in 1979-80 which was the last season wrestling was a sponsored sport in the MCCAA.

It has been 39 years since the Michigan Community College Athletic Association has crowned a champions. However on Saturday at Bartels-Rode Gym on the campus of Muskegon Community College will change one of four schools will be crowned as the MCCAA champion.
After 38 Years wrestling returns as a MCCAA Sport

After a 38 year hiatus, the sport of wrestling is returning to the Michigan Community College Athletic Association. The MCCAA last crowned a champion in 1980 when Muskegon Community College won their sixth straight title.
