Lake Michigan's Olivia Ippel is the MCCAA Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week5

Lake Michigan College's Olivia Ippel is the MCCAA Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week#5 for the period ending Oct. 1. This marks her second such award in three weeks.

The Saint Joseph (Mich.) High School graduate won her third meet this fall at the SC4 Skippers Cross Country Invitational, navigating the 5-kilometer Marysville City Park course in 18 minutes and 40.2 seconds to lead wire-to-wire. She broke her own school record by 1.5 seconds on a soft, muddy course. There were 97 student-athletes representing 11 teams at the event.
