Lake Michigan's Olivia Ippel Repeats as MCCAA Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week9

Lake Michigan College's Olivia Ippel is the MCCAA Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week9 for the second-straight time and fourth overall in 2023.

The Saint Joseph (Mich.) High School graduate won the NJCAA Region XII and MCCAA Championships, leading the Redhawks to a fifth-place finish, by 51 seconds. Ippel's winning time of 18 minutes and 29.3 seconds over five kilometers broke her own Douglas Walker Park course record set on Sept. 15.

She has won all five meets that she has competed in this season.
