Lake Michigan's Olivia Ippel is the MCCAA Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week7
Lake Michigan College's Olivia Ippel is the MCCAA Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week7 for the second time in three weeks and third overall in 2023.
The Saint Joseph (Mich.) High School graduate raced to a school- and course record time of 17 minutes and 54.6 seconds to capture first place at the Marion University's Ancilla College Charger Invitational. Despite a soggy course, Ippel moved to the front of race from the gun and never looked back to finish just over a minute ahead of the second-place winner.
She has won all four meets in that she has participated.
