Rowan of Oakland CC wins MCCAA Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week
Oakland Community College freshman Amy Rowan (Sterling Heights, MI/Home School) has earned MCCAA Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week. Rowan won the OCC Raiders Invitational at Freedom Hill in Sterling Heights. She covered the five kilometer course in 19:32.4 for her third win of the season and second in a row. Libby Vanderway of Lansing Community College, Morgan Kesteloot of Southwestern Michigan College, Audrey Meyering of Grand Rapids Community College, Natalia Egnatuk of Kellogg Community College and Mary Kaminski of St. Clair County Community College were also nominated for the award.
