Lansing edges Grand Rapids for top spot in MCCAA women's cross country pre-season poll
Lansing Community College women's cross country team, who missed last year due to COVID restrictions, are picked to win this year's MCCAA cross country title. Grand Rapids Community College, who won the MCCAA crown last year, was picked to finish second in the poll.
St. Clair County CC was picked to finish third in the poll, while Jackson College was tabbed for fourth. Kellogg CC was selected to come in fifth, Muskegon CC was slated to finishe sixth and Mott CC was picked for seventh.
Eighth place went to Oakland CC in the poll, while Macomb finished ninth and Kirtland CC was 10th. Wayne County CCD and Ancilla College of Marian University were picked to tie for 11th and Glen Oaks CC was slated for 13th.
The first MCCAA meet takes place on September 24, 2021 with the Firebird Invitational at Hanson Hills Recreation Area in Grayling, MI.
