Cooper of Oakland stellar defensive play nets her MCCAA Eastern Conference Volleyball Player of the Week honors
Oakland Community College outside hitter Izzy Cooper (Commerce Township, MI/Walled Lake Northern) has named MCCAA Eastern Conference Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week. Cooper had 85 digs, seven aces, six assists and was 82 of 89 on serve receive as the Raiders finished runner up in the NJCAA Great Lakes District B Tournament. Also nominated was Savannah Varela of Mott Community College, Miyana Dishroon of St. Clair County Community College and Evelyn Rummell of Schoolcraft College.
