Lawson of Kalamazoo Valley tabbed as MCCAA Western Conference Player of the Week
Kalamazoo Valley's freshman middle blocker/middle hitter Madison Lawson (Lawton, MI/Lawton) has been named MCCAA Western Conference Player of the Week. Lawson had 33 kills, 11 blocks and two digs in three matches last week as the Cougars clinched at District Tournament berth. She also hit .526 for the week. Abby Herman of Kellogg CC, Raegan Murphy of Muskegon CC and Chyanna Caster of Lansing CC were also nominated.
