MCCAA places four players on NJCCAA Division II Women's Soccer All-American Squad

Muskegon CC forward Sammi Hecht has been named a NJCAA Division II Women's Soccer All-American. Hecht led the Jayhawks to the NJCCAA Division II Women's Soccer National semi-finals this season. Hecht had 22 goals and 13 assist for 57 points in 21 games. She had nine game winning goals and took 72 shots, 42 of which were on goal. 

Kendall Jones of Muskegon earned Honorable Mention All-American Honors. Jones, a midfielder, had 13 goals and 23 assists for 49 points for the Jayhawks. She had 36 shots on goal on 51 shots. 

Lake Michigan College goalkeeper Alison Bishop was also a Honorable Mention All-Americans. Bishop started all 17 games for the Red Hawks posting a 7-7-2 record with five shut outs. She allowed 25 goals in 1,568 minutes for a 1.43 goals against average. She made 128 saves for a .837 save percentage. 

Schoolcraft College forward Ceceilya Mernatti also earned Honorable Mention All-American honors. Mernatti had 10 goals and eight assist in 14 games. She took 57 shots, 44 of which were on goal and had three game winning goals for the Ocelots, who lost in the Region XII Championship in a shoot out.
