Redhawks' Villegas selected as MCCAA Women's Soccer Player of the Week
Lake Michigan College freshman midfielder/back Tania Villegas (Covert, MI/Covert) has been selected MCCAA women's soccer Player of the Week. Villegas had four goals and one assists in two matches last week. She had a hat trick against Ancilla College of Marian University and the Red Hawks only goal against #1 - Delta College. Other players nominated were Faith Weber of Delta College, Anna Hosmer of Jackson College and Maddie Prins of Muskegon Community College.
