Southwestern Michigan's Heath Honored Again as MCCAA Wrestler of the Week

Southwestern Michigan College sophomore Hunter Heath is the MCCAA Wrestler of the Week11. He also was the season's first honoree.

Heath was a force at the 2024 MCCAA Individual Wrestling Championships hosted by St. Clair County Community College last weekend, when he captured the 165-pound title again. He earned the MCCAA Most Outstanding Wrestler of the Year Award after recording falls in the semifinals and finals by 24 seconds and 1 minute and 45 seconds, respectively. Heath moves to 26-2 on the season.

The Niles, Mich., product and Brandywine High School graduate also led the Roadrunners to a convincing team championship, outscoring the opposition by 70 points.
