Parks of Kirtland CC tabbed as MCCAA Eastern Conference Women's Bowler of the Week
Freshman bowler Kathy Parks (Lewiston, MI/Lewiston) of Kirtland Community College has been named MCCAA Eastern Conference Bowler of the Week. Parks won the Muskegon CC Invitational with a 584 series for the three game set. Her high game of 223 was the second highest game in the tournament and helped lead the Firebirds to a third place finish in the tournament. Katie McGovern of Mid Michigan College was also nominated for the award.
