NCMC's Wardin Debuts with MCCAA Northern Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week17 Nod

Camille Wardin from North Central Michigan College has earned the season's final MCCAA Northern Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week award.

A volleyball student-athlete by trade, the freshman forward from Saginaw has been pressed into action for the shorthanded Timberwolves during the last few weeks and thus makes her weekly awards debut. Wardin averaged a double-double of 12.5 points and 10.0 rebounds over two games. She also blocked four shots.

Wardin joined the team for the final six games of the campaign so the Timberwolves could have enough players to finish out their schedule. After a year away from organized basketball, she posted three double-doubles in her brief six-game collegiate career.
