Vissman leads Lakers to the NJCAA Division II Nationals, Northern Conference Player of the Week
Mid Michigan College sophomore guard Bailey Vissman (Stanton, MI/Central Montcalm) has been selected as the MCCAA Northern Conference Player of the Week. Vissman earned NJCAA Great Lakes District A Most Valuable Player honors for leading the Lakers to the Great Lakes District A Championship. Vissman has 31 points, 13 rebounds, 11 assists and four steals in the two wins. The Lakers move on to the NJCAA Division II National Championship Tournament. They are the nine seed and will play Richard Bland College at 8 PM on Tuesday. Marlene Bussler of Grand Rapids CC was also nominated for the award.
