BACK TO BACK: Red Hawks' Ford repeats Western Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Lake Michigan College freshman center Arial Ford (Indianapolis, IN/Pike) has won MCCAA Western Conference Player of the Week for the second straight week. Ford was also tabbed as the NJCAA Division II Women's Basketball National Player of the Week. Ford had a pair of double-doubles last week as she pumped in 22 points and snagged 22 rebounds against Lansing CC. She then scored 16 points, grabbed 17 rebounds and four blocks against Kellogg Community College. Abigail Long of Kalamazoo Valley Community College was also nominated for the award.
