Skippers' Little wins MCCAA Eastern Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week Honors
St. Clair County Community College sophomore center/forward Dareonna Little (Detroit, MI/Edison PSA) has been selected as the MCCAA Eastern Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week. Little had 40 points, 17 rebounds, three steals, two assists and two blocks in two games. She was 57.1 percent from the floor in 62 minutes. Jackson College's Morgan Jackson, Wayne County Community College's Monica Williams, Makaiya Thomas of Schoolcraft College and Kamryn Richards of Macomb Community College were also nominated for the award.
