Chargers Allen grabs MCCAA Western Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Marian University's Ancilla College' freshman forward Jayci Allen (Richmond, IN/Richmond) has been selected as the MCCAA Western Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week. Allen averaged a double-double last week as the Chargers went 2-0. Jayci had 47 points, 23 rebounds, six assists, four steals and a block in a pair of games. She shot 56.3 percent as the Chargers moved to 12-4 overall and 1-0 in the MCCAA Western Conference. Also nominated for the award were Abigail Long of Kalamazoo Valley Community College and Cameron Thomas of Southwestern Michigan College
