Carlstrom of Mid Michigan earns MCCAA Western Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week

Mid Michigan College freshman guard Alexys Carlstrom (Harrison, MI/Harrison) has been named MCCAA Western Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week. Carlstrom had 52 points, ten rebounds, ten steals and three assist in two games for the Lakers. Also up for the award were, Keziah Buggs of Jackson College, Sally Merrill of Grand Rapids Community College, Suzan Sisman of Muskegon Community College and Aalyah Watson of Lake Michigan College.
