Macomb's Edwards selected as MCCAA Eastern Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week

Macomb Community College sophomore guard/forward DeBraya Edwards (Detroit, MI/Roseville) has been named MCCAA Eastern Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week. Edwards had 63 points, 30 rebounds, 11 assists and 11 steals in three contests for the Monarchs. Catarina Juarez of Schoolcraft College and Mollie Girard of Alpena Community College were also up for the award.
