Mott's Tartt drops career high 42 points to earn MCCAA Eastern Conference Player of the Week

Mott Community College COVID freshman Xeriya Tartt (Flint, MI/Hamady) has been named MCCAA Eastern Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week, Tartt scored a career high 42 points, which included the winning layup with 3.2 seconds left, to defeat St. Clair County CC on Saturday. In three games, Tartt scored 75 points, 25 rebounds, six assists, six steals and six blocks. Precious Fields of Delta College and Maryam Hashim of Wayne County Community College District were also nominated for the award.
