Merrill of Grand Rapids selected as MCCAA Western Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week

Freshman guard/forward Sally Merrill (Allegan, MI/Hamilton) of Grand Rapids CC has been tabbed as the MCCAA Western Conference Player of the Week. Merrill had 60 points, 23 rebounds, nine assists, two steals and two blocks in three games last week. Abigail Long of Kalamazoo Valley Community College and Aaliyah Reno of Lake Michigan College were also nominated for the honor.
