MCCAA Western Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors go to Long of Kalamazoo Valley
Freshman Abigail Long (Portage, MI/Central) of Kalamazoo Valley Community College has been named MCCAA Western Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week. Long had 47 points, 25 rebounds, 11 assists, nine steals and one block in two games last week. She helped lead the Cougars to two wins last week. Other nominees were, Libbie Nason of Lake Michigan College, Sally Merrill of Grand Rapids Community College, Kaycee Shannon of Jackson College and Julia Tierman of Muskegon Community College.
