Stars' Shadduck Earns MCCAA Western Conference Softball Player of the Week5

Kyra Shadduck of Lansing Community College is the MCCAA Western Conference Softball Player of the Week5. It's her second weekly award this season as she was the Pitcher of the Week1.

The freshman out of Dewitt, Mich., excelled in the circle as well as at the plate to help her own cause. Shadduck slashed .500/.529/1.000 with two home runs and seven runs batted in. She also scored five runs. She pitched to a 2-1 record with 16 strikeouts in 20.2 innings of work.
