Mid Michigan Sweeps MCCAA Northern Conference Softball Weekly Awards to End April

Mid Michigan College sophomore Heidi Nagel (Midland, Mich.) and freshman Lexi Mielke (Standish, Mich.) are the MCCAA Northern Conference Softball Pitcher and Player of the Week6, respectively.

Nagel, who is a repeat recipient and a three-time honoree overall in 2024, pitched two games that included a no-hitter against Grand Rapids Community College with 11 strikeouts over five innings. In eight frames total, she had 13 strikeouts.

Mielke had a .583/.571/.750 slashline with six runs batted in spanning 12 at-bats.
