Lakers’ Yarnell picks up MCCAA Northern Conference Softball Player of the Week honors
Freshman second base/catcher Janelle Yarnell (Shepherd, MI/Shepherd) of Mid Michigan College has been named the MCCAA Northern Conference Player of the Week. Yarnell batted .625 (10 for 16) with four doubles, four runs, a walk, two home runs and 10 RBI in five games. Also up for the award was Jaye Guichelaa of Grand Rapids Community College.
