Oakland's Meyer earns second straight MCCAA Eastern Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week
Oakland Community College freshman pitcher Emily Meyer (Davison, MI/Davison) has been tabbed as MCCAA Eastern Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week for the second straight week. Meyer appeared in three games going 1-0, tossing 13.1 innings, scattering 13 hits, allowing six runs, four runs, walking one and striking out two. She helped lead the Raiders to the NJCAA Great Lakes District B Title and earned MVP honors. Kiersten Metz of Schoolcraft College was also nominated.
