Jayhawks' Dykstra claims MCCAA Western Conference Softball Player of the Week honors
Freshman utility player Kennadi Dykstra (Fruitport, MI/Fruitport) of Muskegon Community College has been selected as the MCCAA Western Conference Softball Player of the Week. Dykstra hit .667 (12 of 18) for the week, with four doubles, seven runs scored, 13 RBI, three walks and a stolen base in seven games. Also nominated for the award were Addison Hudson of Jackson College, Olivia Teichman of Glen Oaks CC and last week's award winner Jayme Koning of Kalamazoo Valley Community College.
