MCCAA Western Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week honors go to Stars' Davenport
Lansing CC freshman Lydia Davenport (Ithaca, MI/Ithaca) has been named MCCAA Western Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week. Davenport pitched in four games compiling a 4-0 record. She threw 20 innings, allowing 17 hits, six runs, one earned, walking six and striking out 24, while posting a 0.35 ERA. She has won her last seven games. MaKayla Thompson of Muskegon Community College, Kiley Weiderman of Glen Oaks Community College and Kylie Smalley of Kalamazoo Valley Community College were also nominated for the award.
