Macomb's Sierzenga wins MCCAA Eastern Conference Pitcher of the Week award

Macomb Community College freshman pitcher Carly Sierzenga (Macomb, MI/Dakota) has been named MCCAA Eastern Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week. Sierzenga logged 30.2 innings in seven games, going 5-1 with three complete games, allowing 30 hits, 15 runs, 11 earned, nine walks and striking out 39 batters. Also nominated was Delta College's Lakin Fryzel.
