Hawks' Zimmerman claims MCCAA Eastern Conference Softball Player of the Week

Henry Ford College freshman utility player Haley Zimmerman (Cygnet, OH/Elmwood) has been selected as the MCCAA Eastern Conference Softball Player of the Week. Zimmerman batted .500 (13 for 26) with four home runs, eight RBI, eight runs scored, two walks and a stolen base. Also nominated were Jordyn Hobson of Mott Community College, Elizabeth Towsnend of Macomb Community College, Keirsten Metz of Schoolcraft College, Emma McGrath of Oakland Community College and Karleigh McBride of Delta College.
