Oakland's Griffith selected as the MCCAA Eastern Conference Softball Player of the Week

Oakland Community College freshman second base/shortstop Sarah Griffith (Waterford, MI/Kettering) has earned MCCAA Eastern Conference Softball Player of the Week honors. Griffith hit .647 (11 of 17) with three doubles, three home runs, 11 RBI, three walks, 11 runs scored and five stolen bases in six games. Also nominated were Danielle Erickson of Macomb Community College, Brooklyn Rushton of Mott Community College and Autumn Reed of Schoolcraft College.
